I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have already made a donation for their financial support.
You probably have no idea of the difference you have made. Before I got involved in fundraising and bowling for the Toronto Cat Rescue, neither did I.
The Toronto Cat Rescue is no ordinary rescue organization. Other than a no-kill policy, the organization doesn’t have a building where cats are kept in cages, but rather a series of foster homes.
If someone wants to adopt a cat or a kitten, they are first thoroughly screened, after which they can pick and choose of cats and kittens on the TCR website, followed by a visit to the foster home where the felines are kept.
That many cats and kittens cost money. Not only is there food and kitty litter to consider, to prevent more unwanted kittens, the organization has a neuter/spay policy, which make for hefty vet bills.
The Toronto Cat Rescue does even more though. To control the cat population in Toronto, they trap feral cats and spay/neuter them. After their visit to the vet, they are set free again.
Your donated dollar make all this possible. Because of you the cats and kittens are well fed, have clean litter boxes, and receive excellent medical care.
If you haven’t donated yet, please visit https://www.canadahelps.org/en/pages/toronto-cat-rescue-bowl-a-thon-5/ where you can make your contribution directly to the Toronto Cat Rescue.
Don’t let the amount the website reflects deter you. Most people have donated cash or made their donation to my PayPal account at [email protected] Any amount you can spare will make a difference in the lives of the cats of Toronto.
Thank you for opening your hearts and your wallets for the Toronto kitties.
